So, not for the first time, I find myself in a very weird place. A place where the question is, "What happens now?"
Well, as Gunny (my much, much older brother) has always told me. "tough times wouldn't be tough if you knew when they were going to end". And that is so true. It's the not knowing that drives you up the wall.
However, yesterday I slept in a little late.
I painted at my new house.
I got a new computer.
I got a call from a person who wants to interview me.
I had a picnic with my daughters and got to tell them that I will have more time with them for a while.
Overall, it was an awesome day. And I have to say, I've got a good feeling about all this.
Keep praying (or your fingers crossed if you aren't a pray-er).
Thanks
What a remarkable two days.
Sometimes God takes a long time to answer prayer. But, SOMETIMES He is reallly quick.
(I hope I can remember this the next time I am tempted to complain to Him about how long He is taking!)
I love you, Babe. But, He loves you more, and He will ALWAYS be there for you in whatever life brings, good or bad.

Totally Praying... HARD!
Good luck, and make the most of your unexpected time off... Think of it as snow days when we were kids. A few days to catch your breath!

Hi Jenny,
I hope you don't mind if I share one of my favorite inspirationsal quotes:
"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is to play the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you....We are in charge of our attitudes." Charles Swindoll
Stay positive and you'll be OK.
