Who I was isn't who I am...

When I started this little blog this is what I wrote on my personal page:

Height: 5'10" Weight: On my driver's license

Occupation: Not recently but I am eyeing Iran. (HR Consultant by day)

Family Life: Married to King George for a decade plus. Three daughters: Princess CoCo (9), Princess LuLu (7) and Princess MiMi (3).

Pets: Trixie the Great (5 year old American long-hair Silver Tabby) and Bibble the Small (6 month old terrified Shih Tzu).

Hobbies: Coaching Volleyball and Basketball at Saint Whotheheck. Putting unflattering pictures of myself on my blog "about" page. Eating ice cream in large quantities. Swearing for laughs. Serving on Saint Whotheheck's School Board. Watching intriguing television. Blogging.

Interests: Keeping myself and those around me out of hell (which I've heard still uses dial up). Never passing up dessert. Staying active so that I will live to a ripe old age and be able to irritate the hell out of my grandchildren's spouses.

Interests: enthusiastic living

 

It's funny that so much of that page, two short years later, is no longer true.  I now have a regular job, and a less regular personal life.  Trixie the Great passed away a few months ago so we now have two kittens (Cinderella and Flash) in honor of Princess MiMi's birthday (the girls each get a pet at age 5). Don't worry Bibble the Small is still pint sized but much of what I wrote has changed.

 

However, that favorite quote, about learning to sail my ship, that is still spot on.....

When you first started this blog, I thought there were some revelations prompted by Oprah. You had set some goals surrounding being a Mom and the fact that it was the most important thing you would do in your life. How's that going?
