Princess CoCo plays the trumpet.
Yeah.
Sometimes Princess CoCo wakes up really early.
Yeah.
When she wakes up really early, she likes to play her trumpet.
I'd like to tell you that she plays revelry. Unfortunately she likes to warm up with an enthusiastic version of "Good King Wenceslas".
There is nothing like a rousing rendition of "Good King Wenceslas" at 5am.
Nothing.
Well, at least she wants to practice?
I played the sax and not only is a beginning sax player probably a worse noise than a beginning trumpet player, I also never wanted to practice.

I think it's wonderful she's taking up a musical instrument. I'm sure we'll get a little "taste" of it when we're there in a couple weeks. :}

My girls haven't started any sort of music lessons yet, but LushMan wanted to play the accordion when he was younger. And then he also played (still does, poorly) the sax. I hope that they don't pick up the accordion. What a geek!

OUch! 5am, your kidding right? I guess you could look at it as though you never had to ask, "are you going to practice today?".

Oh my.
I can hardly wait for the noisy boys to take up an instrument. (gulp.)

But I'm sure something like that is in my future.

One word. Mute. $25.00 at a music store. That and a no trumpet before 9 am rule. You are WAY too nice.

Someday you'll laugh.
Might even call her up and ask for another rendition. It sounds like a family legend is in the works--future fodder for family reunions.
